Most car accidents are caused by human error. It is essentially impossible for everyone in a car to drive perfectly, every time they drive. If Self-driving cars became mainstream, we could save thousands of lives, dollars, and time. If you had a self-driving car, you could now just sleep in your car as you travel. Fatalities from traffic incidents happen on an annual basis upwards of 33,000 people. Many of these accidents are preventable and are a result of distracted driving. Self-driving cars could use a systematic approach to navigating around each other, there by reducing traffic.
